Lee Meishu Memorial Museum

Located in Sanxia District, New Taipei City, Taiwan, the Lee Meishu Memorial Museum was established in April 1995. It is dedicated to commemorating Taiwanese painter Lee Meishu and showcasing his works, housing a collection of his lifetime masterpieces and various cultural artifacts and documents. Professor Lee's artistic creations primarily sought to depict the beauty of Taiwan's local landscapes, employing a realistic style. His beloved paintings of Sanxia scenery throughout his life are imbued with his emphasized artistic philosophy of 'wind, earth, people, and emotions.' However, some of his works exhibit a highly distinctive style; for example, 'Boy Teasing a Turkey' utilizes a 3D painting technique, sharing a similar ingenious effect with the world-renowned painting 'Mona Lisa.'
