Xindian Old Street

Xindian Old Street, which is today's Xindian Road on the east bank of the Xindian Bitan Suspension Bridge. According to historical records, Xindian Old Street was founded during the Daoguang era. In its early years, it served as a hub for agricultural products and daily necessities from areas like Wulai, Muzha, Ankeng, and Jingmei. In the past, due to convenient transportation provided by river shipping, light railways, and the suspension bridge, it flourished and prospered.
