Quanjitang

The century-old Quanjitang Temple enshrines Guan Sheng Di Jun, the guardian deity of the Jinguashi area. The temple houses three must-see treasures. The first is Taiwan's largest pure copper statue of Guan Gong. Facing the sea with a mountain at its back, it stands 35 Taiwanese feet tall and weighs 25 tons, with the Spring and Autumn Annals held in its left hand alone measuring five Taiwanese feet high. The second is a pair of national treasure-grade large stone pillars featuring floral, bird, and human figures. Carved in three dimensions, they are carefully enclosed and protected with acrylic cases by the temple. The third is the Golden-faced Guan Sheng Di Jun. This deity statue was brought from Tangshan (mainland China) during the early Republican era and is a rare sight throughout Taiwan.
