Jilong Mountain is located in Ruifang District, New Taipei City, with an elevation of 588 meters, making it one of Taiwan's Minor 100 Peaks. Jilong Mountain is a conical dormant volcano belonging to the Jilong Volcanic Group, characterized by its intrusive volcanic terrain. Its tall and prominent stature, coupled with its location adjacent to the East China Sea, made it an important landmark for navigators at sea in earlier times. It also serves as the boundary mountain between the two settlements of Jiufen and Jinguashi.
