Liulang Road Scenic Trail

The Liulang Road Scenic Trail, located in Ruifang District, New Taipei City, is part of the Northern Route of the Danlan Historic Trail. Its entrance is next to Parking Lot No. 9. The name 'Liulang' is a homophone for 'Liulong' (cable car/funicular). This scenic trail was renovated from an ancient path at the end of Liulong Road. This ancient path was originally used by mountain residents to descend and purchase goods. In earlier times, cable car tracks were used for mining and transporting materials up and down, solving the problem of some sections being too steep for manual labor to handle.
