Shiding Century-Old Stone House

Shiding East Street, located in New Taipei City, is a rare 'Sky-Hidden Street' in Taiwan. The houses on East Street, built along the Wutuku Stream, are constructed on stilts directly above the riverbed. Most of these houses are built using local river stones. Shiding West Street was the original center of development, but currently, East Street has a larger population than West Street, gradually replacing the former's prosperity. It features unique stilt house architecture, 'Sky-Hidden Streets', and century-old stone houses.
