Hongde Temple

Hongde Temple, located in Lane 303, Zhongzheng 1st Road, is not large but exquisite and magnificent. It embodies the meaning of 'promoting martial virtue' and is referred to by locals as Sun Bin Temple. It is also the first Sun Bin Temple in Taiwan. The main deity enshrined is Sun Bin, who contended with Pang Juan during the Warring States period and was a descendant of Sun Wu, the author of 'The Art of War'.
