Shanzijiao Park

The Shanjia area was originally known as 'Shanzijiao.' Its name, dating back to the Qing Dynasty when it was part of Shanzijiao Village in Haisanbao, came from its proximity to the foot of Guilon Ridge. During the Japanese colonial period, the name was changed to 'Shanzijiao' (with different Chinese characters), and after Taiwan's retrocession, it was renamed 'Shanjia.' Shanzijiao Park is situated next to the Shulin District Land Office, alongside the Lujao River, and spans approximately 2600 square meters. Wooden boardwalks have been constructed along the riverbanks, allowing visitors to enjoy watching the small fish in the stream. In the evening, one can sit by the riverbank to admire the sunset. It is an excellent spot for recreational activities in the Shanjia area.
