Lujiaoxi Artificial Wetland

The Lujiaoxi Artificial Wetland spans 16 hectares, situated at the confluence of the Dahan River and its tributary, Lujiao Creek. It is named for its shape resembling a deer's antler. Formerly a landfill, the Lujiaoxi Wetland was renovated by the New Taipei City Government's High-Level Riverbank Construction Management Office and developed into an artificial wetland. It utilizes aquatic plants and natural purification methods to improve the water quality of the Dahan River, and is the first on-site sewage treatment facility in New Taipei City to be certified by the Environmental Protection Administration.
