Qiedong Waterfall

Qiedong Waterfall, located in the Qiedongjiao area of Xizhi District, New Taipei City, is hidden within the mountain stream valley behind Dajian Mountain. It is the largest waterfall in the Dajian Mountain area, approximately four to five stories high, consisting of multiple tiers, and forming a pool at its base. It's hard to imagine such a large-scale waterfall in such a low-lying mountainous region. Qiedong Waterfall can be accessed from Fuji Villa or by following the Qiedong Ancient Trail, with the sound of babbling stream water accompanying you along the way. Steep rock walls stand beside the waterfall, and nearby in the woods below, there are stone tables and chairs. Sitting in the forest, listening to the roar of the waterfall and the sound of the water, allows you to enjoy the beauty of the mountains and forests.
