Yehliu Lighthouse

The Yehliu Lighthouse was established in 1967. Standing 11.3 meters tall, it is located at the highest point of Guitou Mountain in the third section of Yehliu Geopark. Visitors can reach it via a side path leading to the lighthouse from the main trail on the cape. To complement Yehliu's internationally renowned geological landscape, it was designed in the shape of a candlestick, taking the Candlestick Rock as its model. The lighthouse was strategically placed between the illumination radii of Fugui Cape Lighthouse and Keelung Lighthouse to enhance the navigation capabilities of Keelung Harbor.
