Banqiao Cihui Temple

Cihui Mazu Temple is located in the bustling area of Banqiao District, New Taipei City. It serves as the Mazu faith center for the seventeen major villages of the old Baijiebao. Together with Fanchiao Street Wenchang Temple (now Banqiao District), Fanchiao Street Jieyun Temple (now Banqiao District), Fangliao Guangji Temple (now Zhonghe District), and Daanliaozhuang Damugong (now Tucheng District), these temples are collectively known as the Five Great Temples of Baijiebao. The highly revered Cihui Temple is a long-standing Mazu Temple in the Banqiao area, with its traditional temple architecture nestled among residential buildings, creating an interesting contrast.
