Banqiao Rural Park

Banqiao Rural Park is located at the intersection of Wenhua Road and Shuangshi Road. It was established in 1989 by the Banqiao District Farmers' Association, covering an area of approximately 8,400 square meters. It is Taiwan's first recreational park designed with rural scenes and pastoral landscapes from Taiwan's early post-restoration period as its main theme. The park features five areas, including an antique-style Sanheyuan (traditional courtyard house), Changchun Garden Area, folk opera stage, Eight Rural Sceneries, and a health trail. There is also a Fude Temple. The indoor exhibition hall displays settings from early agricultural society, including a large stove kitchen, ancestral hall, wooden bed bedroom, and plowing tools. Outdoors, statues of ducks and chicks are placed by the pond and under the trees, creating a strong rural atmosphere.
