The Qingshui Zushi Temple, located near Sanxia Old Street, is a highly popular temple primarily enshrining Qingshui Zushi. It was originally founded in the 34th year of the Qianlong Emperor's reign (1769 AD). In the 36th year of the Republic of China (1947), due to its age, the temple had fallen into disrepair and was dilapidated. Professor Li Meishu was then appointed as the artistic designer and engineering director for the reconstruction project. The temple's numerous magnificent stone carvings, wood carvings, and other artworks integrate the styles of master craftsmen from various schools and contemporary artists, showcasing the exquisite craftsmanship and aesthetics of the time. Consequently, it has earned the reputation of being a 'Temple of Folk Art' and an 'Oriental Art Palace'.
