Pinglin Tea Museum, New Taipei City

The Pinglin Tea Museum, established in 1997, is situated by the Beishi River in Pinglin District, covering an area of nearly 3 hectares. It is a quadrangle-style building in the Anxi Minnan (Southern Fujian) style, which integrates the subtle and profound beauty of Jiangnan gardens with contemporary architectural language to create this elegant and serene sanctuary of tea culture. The museum houses spaces such as an exhibition hall, an experience hall, and tea art classrooms. The museum regularly organizes various tea-related special exhibitions, guiding the public to learn about Taiwan's tea industry and both Chinese and foreign tea cultures. Concurrently, it hosts a variety of rich and engaging educational outreach programs, reinterpreting the infinite possibilities of "tea" in the contemporary era. It narrates countless touching stories found within the tender "one bud, two leaves," leading everyone to discover the beauty of nature and culture amidst the aroma of tea, and to witness the most beautiful cultural landscape of the tea region.
