Bitan Scenic Area

Bitan, once recognized as one of Taiwan's 'Eight Great Sights and Twelve Scenic Wonders', has multiple theories about its name. One theory suggests it's due to the lake's clear, emerald waters, while another points to the magnificent rock cliffs along its banks. Whichever theory holds true, both depict Bitan's enchanting scenery of lake and mountains.
