Taipei Dome

The Taipei Cultural and Sports Park is situated in the urban core of Taipei City, and together with the historic Songshan Tobacco Factory, they shape the distinctive character of the Cultural and Sports Park. The park covers a total area of 18 hectares, with the Taipei Dome's sports park component occupying approximately 10.2 hectares. It is a unique park in the heart of Taipei that combines green spaces, forests, sports, exhibitions, performances, and recreational leisure. The park's outdoor spaces are open 24 hours a day. The entire park features 10 public art installations, themed "The Bottom of the Ninth at Songshan Dome Baseball Field." These 10 artworks blend landscape, cross-media, sportsmanship, and the humanistic charm of Songshan, embodying "Trend"—urban trends; "Technology"—innovative techniques; and "Dreamland"—a realm of fantasy, inviting the public to explore. The Taipei Dome stadium is Taiwan's only indoor baseball field capable of accommodating 40,000 people. It meets international standards and is equipped with artificial turf, dedicated back-of-house areas for players, and comprehensive rest and training facilities, making it suitable for various international-level baseball events. It is also Taiwan's largest international entertainment venue, with a seating capacity of 10,000 to 40,000. It features versatile stage designs and professional performance systems, suitable for large-scale performance events such as concerts and musicals. For exhibitions, it offers approximately 12,950 square meters of space, capable of accommodating 600 to 700 standard booths, supporting both public and professional exhibitions. The venue is conveniently located between MRT Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall Station and Taipei City Hall Station, offering easy access. It also provides over 2,000 car parking spaces, making it a multi-functional landmark venue combining sports, entertainment, and exhibitions. For domestic and international baseball events, the venue features artificial turf that complies with WBSC baseball field specifications and new high standards, allowing various baseball activities and games to be comfortably held regardless of weather conditions. For domestic and international music and entertainment performances, the venue provides international-grade sound systems for entertainment performances and professional aerial rigging equipment, meeting the acoustic and lighting setup requirements for various shows. For large-scale exhibition events, it can accommodate approximately 700 standard booths and has 42 built-in dedicated utility boxes for water, electricity, and internet, making it suitable for both international professional exhibitions and general consumer exhibitions. For other gatherings and cultural events, the Dome stadium is a multi-functional large indoor venue that also caters to various activities such as international conferences and company year-end parties.
