Visitor Essentials

It is one of the few remaining suspension bridge sites along the Keelung River in Taipei City. The bridge was built as a vital transportation route for coal mining in the early Neihu area, and its remains are a historical testament to local industrial development. This was the earliest suspension bridge dedicated to coal transport across the Keelung River in the Neihu District. The bridge deck was dismantled during the 1970s, and currently, only the bridge piers on the north bank remain. (Source: National Cultural Heritage Website)
