Yuyu Yang Museum

The Yuyu Yang Museum is located in Nanhai Academy, a cultural hub in Taipei City, close to important cultural institutions like the National Museum of History, the National Taiwan Arts Education Center, and the Taipei Botanical Garden. It's a place where a rich artistic and academic atmosphere converges. The Yuyu Yang Museum hosts several retrospective exhibitions of Yuyu Yang's work annually, along with one special exhibition for artist exchanges. It also features irregular invitations for exhibitions through national and international inter-museum collaborations, and organizes promotional activities such as humanities and art lectures, cultural events, and workshops for young artists. Value-added art application: It all begins with sharing. To integrate art into daily life and elevate life through art, making art more accessible and life more engaging, 'utilization' is the most direct way to experience it. Through the artist's originality and thoughtful, human-centered design, practical and beautiful daily necessities and gifts are developed, allowing people to fully appreciate the ingenious application of aesthetics in their lives. Cultural and Art Space: A multifunctional cultural space that integrates humanities, life, aesthetics, creativity, and rental services. Here, you can read, relax, enjoy coffee, listen to life stories, or share knowledge at cultural lectures. The spirit and content of humanities and art have always been our goal. We warmly invite friends, book clubs, and others to gather here, fostering the exchange and development of culture and art. The main museum on the third floor hosts three special exhibitions on Yuyu Yang annually, while the Yuyu Yang Story Hall in the basement features a permanent exhibition. The permanent exhibition area, designed to evoke a historical pathway, showcases Yuyu Yang's creative archives and historical records, allowing visitors to experience a sense of historical restoration and understand the broad outline of Yuyu Yang's life. Additionally, the museum irregularly hosts exhibitions through national and international inter-museum collaborations and organizes related humanities and art lectures, cultural events, and workshops for young artists.
