Visitor Essentials

Located at the intersection of the 10-meter green belt formed by Chengde Road and the extended section of Fuguo Road, a crucial meeting point of the cross-axis green corridor, Zhoumei Clam Harbor Park is a wetland park that integrates flood retention, recreation, and ecology. The park covers an area of approximately 30,818 square meters. The original Old Shuangxi River channel within the park has had its riverbank slopes preserved, serving as a forebay for the pumping station. During flood seasons, it provides flood retention space for the park, while on regular days, it functions as a community recreational wetland park. Along the eastern side of the river channel, a shallow area has been designated as a marsh wetland zone, kept largely undisturbed by human activity, making it an excellent habitat for terrestrial birds to forage and breed. Within the park, visitors can appreciate the marsh wetland ecology of the river channel while enjoying distant views of the magnificent mountain shapes of Qixing Mountain and the Datun Mountain Range. Park facilities include scenic winding paths, waterside platforms, pedestrian arch bridges, resting pergolas, and walking loops for sightseeing. Text source: Parks Tour.Taipei New Vibe website.
