Huaxi Street Night Market is Taiwan's first tourist night market, located near Longshan Temple in Taipei. It primarily sells various mountain produce, seafood, and wild game snacks, making it one of the most beloved attractions for both domestic and international tourists. Every evening, visitors can often be seen with guidebooks searching for delicacies. In its early days, the area was famous for snake-killing performances, earning it the nickname "Snake Alley."
