Pingdengli Cherry Blossoms

Cherry blossom viewing in northern Taiwan almost always begins with the cherry blossoms on Pingjing Street in Yangmingshan. Every year from January to February, you can enter Yangmingshan by turning left from Lane 71, Section 3, Zhishan Road in Shilin District. Along the way, you can admire the blooming mountain cherry blossoms. The cherry blossoms are nestled within the quiet alleys of Yangmingshan, and within Pingdengli, there are many recreational tourist farms offering coffee and snacks. You can observe agricultural work, enjoy farm-to-table cuisine, making it a great leisure destination. The cherry blossom varieties in Yangmingshan include: Taiwan Cherry (Mountain Cherry), Double-Petaled Taiwan Cherry (Yaezakura), Yoshino Cherry, Showa Cherry, and Oshima Cherry.
