Dihua Sports Park Overpass Viewing Platform

The Dihua Sports Park Overpass Viewing Platform spans an area of 2,796 square meters and can accommodate up to 3,000 people, making it Taipei City's second scenic platform. The platform extends across Huanhe North Road to the riverbank, offering exceptional views. From here, visitors can enjoy the panoramic scenery of the Tamsui River and watch the fireworks displays at Dadaocheng Wharf. Additionally, the platform features facilities such as water play areas for parent-child activities and an event stage. The flooring of the overpass viewing platform cleverly incorporates the names of Taipei's three early historic districts: 'Dadaocheng,' 'Monga,' and 'Taipei City.' At the entrance, an inscribed stone bears the words '氣象維新' (New Vistas), seemingly witnessing and foreseeing Taipei's future through advancements in sea, land, and air. The platform's main structure is built with reinforced concrete columns and a steel framework, with railings made of steel and tempered glass. The building's overall color scheme is white. The entire platform is suspended by curved steel cables and features night lighting, designed to become a new iconic entrance for western Taipei.
