Shifen Old Street

Shifen, located in Pingxi District, New Taipei City, is considered the earliest developed and largest settlement. The Pingxi Line, a railway branch built for coal mining, winds along the Keelung River valley. After the rapid decline of mining, it connected several charming old streets such as Shifen, Pingxi, and Jingtong.
