Meiti Wharf

Meiti Wharf, located outside Sluice Gate No. 16 of the Keelung River and in front of the Meiti Evacuation Gate, is one of the ports in the Blue Highway water transport network. Its layout is similar to Dajia Wharf, and it currently primarily serves as a docking point for commercial passenger boats operating on Blue Highway routes. The wharf extends the Blue Highway route to the Neihu District, transforming the Keelung River from a series of individual points into a cohesive waterway tourism belt integrated with the Miramar Entertainment Park area. Nearby attractions include the National Palace Museum, Martyrs' Shrine, and a Ferris wheel. The area around Neihu Technology Park also offers many shopping destinations, such as major shopping malls and hypermarkets. Additionally, Meiti Riverside Park, where the wharf is situated, offers a vast panoramic view. From here, visitors can not only gaze at Taipei's landmark Taipei 101 building and observe airplanes taking off and landing at Songshan Airport but also enjoy a pleasant spot for riverside recreation, leisurely walks, or cycling.
