Yangmingshan Hot Spring Area - Xiaoyoukeng

Xiaoyoukeng is a geological landscape area showcasing post-volcanic activity. The scenic trail is accessible by turning right from Xiaoguanyin Station on Yangjin Highway. Its most distinctive features are the fumaroles, sulfur crystals, hot springs, and spectacular collapse terrain, all formed by 'post-volcanic activity'. From the viewing platform, visitors can also gaze upon volcanic cones like Zhuzi Mountain, Datun Mountain, Qixing Mountain, and Xiaoguanyin Mountain, as well as the Jinshan Coast and the parking lot. For those who enjoy botany, a short ten-minute stroll on the nearby arrow bamboo trail offers the chance to observe arrow bamboo groves, Miscanthus grasslands, and various volcanic plants.
