Keelung Fort Commander's Residence

The Keelung Fort Commander's Residence, completed in 1931 during the Japanese colonial period, formerly overlooked Dashawan Beach, Taiwan's first public beach. It offered excellent views and was considered a luxury residence of its time. The interior featured elegant lawn gardens and a fish pond paved with patterned tiles, showcasing the former grandeur and opulence of the mansion.
