Starting in May each year, moso bamboo shoots emerge from the soil, followed by the sweet and crisp green bamboo shoots, a local delicacy beloved by gourmets. They have also repeatedly won the 'Special Prize' in the Keelung City Farmers' Association Green Bamboo Shoot Evaluation Competition. Besides harvesting bamboo shoots, visitors can also experience picking Taiwanese native bayberries by hand.
