The Keelung City Indigenous Cultural Center is located in Bachimen, Zhongzheng District. It features exhibition and performance spaces, a cultural relics museum, and an indigenous language promotion area. Combining an outdoor plaza with a suspension bridge view, it showcases diverse indigenous cultures and is an excellent place to learn about indigenous peoples. The Keelung City Indigenous Cultural Center is a 5-story building with one basement level. The 3rd and 4th floors house the Indigenous Cultural Relics Story Hall, which collects over 200 artifacts from various indigenous tribes. These items, including traditional indigenous clothing, hunting tools, wood carvings, musical instruments, and pottery, are displayed on a rotating thematic basis. Behind the center is the Indigenous Cultural Plaza, spanning approximately 2 hectares. Utilizing the terrain, it is designed with two elevated plazas connected by a suspension bridge. From the plaza, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of Keelung Port and Keelung Islet. It is recommended to start your visit from the Indigenous Cultural Relics Story Hall on the 3rd floor, where you can admire exhibits such as traditional clothing, hunting tools, and musical instruments according to different themes, gaining a deeper understanding of diverse ethnic cultures. After exploring the exhibition areas, consider walking to the cultural plaza behind the center. Stroll across the suspension bridge connecting the two elevated platforms, taking in the panoramic views of Keelung Port and Keelung Islet, and enjoy a leisurely trip that combines cultural knowledge with harbor views.
