Baibao Stream Waterfront Park

Baibao Stream is one of the important water sources for Liyu Lake. In its streambed, you can find Taiwanese jade minerals such as Hualien jade (Fengtian jade) or serpentine. With its unique 'river capture' geomorphology, rich and diverse ecology, and pollution-free, cool, and clear waters, Baibao Stream Waterfront Park is an ideal destination for family water play and getting close to nature. Although the bike path has continuous uphill sections, the gradient is not too steep, and broadleaf forests provide shade along the way. When passing Chongguang Bridge, you can see the statue of Chief Sibalawatan at the bridgehead. Further up, Chongguang Community is a Taroko tribal village, and friends interested in indigenous culture are welcome to visit if they have time.
