Shuhu Waterfall

Shuhu Waterfall, located in Shuhu Village, Shoufeng Township, is nestled deep within a secluded mountain forest. Because it's on Laushan Mountain in Shuhu Village, local residents often refer to it as "Laushan Waterfall." From Provincial Highway 9, at the 225.5 km mark near Fengtian, Shoufeng, you'll see a long concrete sign for Shuhu Community. Turn right into the community and head towards Shuhu Bridge (Laushan Bridge). Along the way, you'll spot cherry trees planted by the roadside. Every blooming season, hundreds of vibrant pink cherry blossoms on the hills burst into bloom, contrasting beautifully with the lush green mountain forest and showcasing their dazzling splendor. Besides the cherry blossoms, dense rhododendron bushes also line the path, guiding visitors forward to explore. Carefully tread on the flagstone path of the waterfall trail. Ferns and vines grow naturally in the mountain forest, and the trail maintains its original, rustic appearance. After about a 30-minute walk, you'll reach the viewing platform. Shuhu Waterfall, cascading down from a hundred feet high, resembles a beautiful, delicate white silk ribbon, a testament to nature's awe-inspiring craftsmanship.
