According to an announcement from the Fengbin Township Office: 'Due to the April 3rd earthquake, the park is temporarily closed starting today. It will reopen after subsequent rockfall cleanup and safety confirmation. We apologize for any inconvenience.' ※For more details, please refer to the official website of the Fengbin Township Office. Skywalks, constructed with transparent reinforced glass, have been a nationwide craze in recent years. The Fengbin Coastal Ancient Trail, located near Jīqí, was also built using the same method, but its construction on a seaside cliff makes it the first of its kind in Taiwan. For information on the attraction's opening hours, please visit the Fengbin Township Office website: http://www.feng-bin.gov.tw/bin/home.php. The trail is located next to the Xinfeng Tunnel on Provincial Highway 11, and also on the old Provincial Highway 11 before the tunnel opened. This place has a resounding yet somewhat lonely name, 'Qīnbùzhīzǐ Cliff'. In earlier years, it was an indigenous trail crossing the cliff, running parallel to the abandoned Xīnjī Tunnel. However, the ancient trail fell into disuse around 1971. Recently, through the efforts of the Fengbin Township Office, a brand new skywalk has been built, and a large parking lot and green park areas have been planned nearby for public recreation. At the entrance of the skywalk, there is a small brick lighthouse. The trail is divided into two sections: one section is the original ancient trail, reinforced and widened with concrete; the other section, a vertically suspended cliff, is built with steel frames and reinforced glass. The trail is approximately 150 meters long, with a vertical elevation of about 40 meters. Of this, a 20-meter section features a reinforced transparent glass walkway. Transportation: ● By Car: Drive south along Provincial Highway 11 → Exit Xinfeng Tunnel → Take the small road next to the tunnel (Provincial Highway 11, 41K marker).
