Niushan Rest Area

Shuilian is located on the coast of Shoufeng Township, Hualien County. Verdant hills embrace a wide river valley basin, through which the Shuilian River meanders. Following the path down from the roadside, the Shuilian Wetland Niushan Coast appears like a secret paradise by the sea. In addition to wading in the waves, enjoying beach activities, and leisurely fishing, the ecological resources of this coast are also quite abundant. The coastal vegetation is an excellent spot for observing the ecological landscape of the East Coast. Hiking, strolling, birdwatching, and butterfly watching are all wonderful choices. Basking in the blue sky, white clouds, and sunshine on the vast coastal lawn, time seems to stand still.
