Yanliao Coastal Rest Area (South)

The Yanliao Coastal Rest Area (South) is located on Provincial Highway 11, on the left side when traveling from north to south, making it the last rest stop along this route. This rest area not only provides a place for visitors to relax but also offers stunning views of the coastline. It's also an excellent spot to witness the sunrise along Provincial Highway 11, especially for those coming from Hualien City. Parking spaces are available nearby for visitors, and there are also marble art installations to admire. The Yanliao Coastal Rest Area (South) features a small pavilion, serving as an ideal location for visitors to alight, enjoy the beautiful scenery, and take a break. However, please be aware of the following important rules: 1. Do not swim due to unpredictable sea conditions. 2. Do not approach cliff areas. 3. No camping or barbecuing. 4. No fishing using electricity, poison, or explosives. 5. Do not pick or hunt wild plants and animals. 6. Do not litter or pollute the environment. 7. Be vigilant and protect your belongings from theft.
