Farglory Ocean Park

Farglory Ocean Park, commonly known as Hualien Ocean Park, is located at the 10-kilometer mark of Provincial Highway 11 (coastal highway) in Shoufeng Township, Hualien County. Its grounds cover part of Yanliao Beach and peaks of the Coastal Mountain Range, spanning 51 hectares. Nestled between mountains and sea, it's about a 30-minute drive from Hualien city center. Farglory Ocean Park features eight main themed areas, broadly divided into Ocean Village, Discovery Island, Ocean Theater, Carnival Street, Pirate's Bay, Brighton Coast, Underwater Kingdom, and Crystal Castle. Farglory Ocean Park is Taiwan's first ocean-themed amusement park, combining a natural scenic park with a five-star resort hotel. In addition to various rides, it offers charming and amusing dolphin and sea lion shows, an underwater world parade, large-scale song and dance spectaculars, and mermaid performances, making it the largest of its kind in eastern Taiwan. Unlike typical amusement parks that focus on mechanical and artificial rides, Hualien Farglory Ocean Park offers visitors a recreational area that blends entertainment with educational significance. The spectacular "Wobbly Sea Lion Show" features adorable sea lions performing funny tricks.
