Tai Kai Xin Farm

Tai Kai Xin Farm is a free-admission petting zoo and family attraction, spanning a vast 45 hectares. There is no shade, so remember to bring sun protection items or apply sunscreen. The park is filled with various flowers, and during blooming season, the sight of vibrant blossoms is breathtaking. It is currently open all day and offers free admission. Upon entering the park, you'll see marble sculptures with indigenous totems. Hualien stone carvings are visible everywhere, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in an artistic atmosphere. The most striking feature of Happy Farm is the small animals found everywhere, which are easy to approach. There's also a paid horse riding experience. Sika deer, though separated by wooden fences, can interact with people; visitors can buy feed at the stable to feed them. Exploring this small farm thoroughly at a leisurely pace still requires about half a day. The Dream Stone Plaza within the park faces the Pacific Ocean and is an excellent spot for watching sunrises and sunsets. The park also features a planned East Coast cycling path, where you can cycle with the wind between the sea and sky. Another special feature of Tai Kai Xin Farm is its location at a river mouth, where the sandbar boasts rich ecological resources. Walking further along the coast, you can observe intertidal creatures and water birds, making it a therapeutic recreational area. It includes a farm and a stable. The farm grows many organic crops; there's also a petting zoo area and an ecological pond. Sika deer, peacocks, and roosters are kept here, while mallards and swans swim gracefully in the ecological pond.
