Taisugar Deep Ocean Water Park

The Taisugar Hualien Deep Seawater Park is bordered on the east by Taiwan Cement's Hualien Plant, on the west by the Forestry Bureau's windbreak and Hualien Environmental Park, and is adjacent to the Pacific Ocean. To the south, it is next to Hualien Sightseeing Fish Port via Gangbin Road, and to the north, it connects to Siba Hill (48 Heights). After fertilizer production ceased in 2003, in line with the Executive Yuan's 'Deep Seawater Resource Utilization and Industry Development Policy Outline,' the park was planned for transformation to develop deep seawater businesses, supporting industrial development to this day. The Taisugar Hualien Deep Seawater Park is Taiwan's only production base that stably supplies deep seawater year-round. Currently, the park features Asia's largest and Taiwan's only deep ocean water-themed tourist and recreational park that produces water, along with facilities such as the Deep Foot Spa Trail, Encounter Flower Pond, and Cape Air-raid Shelter. Visitors can learn about professional water extraction engineering, marine culture, and ocean knowledge through guided tours and experiences at the Marine Mineral Museum, conveying the preciousness of the Kuroshio Current, the importance of deep ocean water to human health, and discovering the original inspiration.
