Mambo Park

Mambo Ocean Ecological Leisure Park, or Mambo Park for short, is located at Qixingtan in Xincheng Township, Hualien County. It is adjacent to Hualien Airport and is currently an important military controlled area. Due to its beautiful surrounding scenery and expansive views, the Hualien County Government has worked to moderately develop this area into a leisure park that can promote local industry and culture, all without compromising national defense security. Mambo Park is divided into eight major areas: the Mambo-themed Battlefield Culture Park, Ecological Consultation Room, Observation Deck, Outdoor Education Platform, Ecological Control Center, Sea View Platform, Mambo Seating, and Scenic Walkway. Combining military culture, it is an emerging recreational venue rich in ecology and profound knowledge. Upon entering the park, visitors will see several white marble Mambo fish sculptures and expansive green lawns. Wooden boardwalks within the park lead to elevated platforms, offering distant views of Qixingtan. Visiting near dusk allows for enjoyment of the sunset and night views, making it one of the popular spots for overlooking Qixingtan.
