Ercengping Aqueduct

The Ercengping Aqueduct, located in Rueilong Village, Luye Township, Taitung County, is a rare elevated irrigation channel in Taiwan. Its red-and-white arched structure spans across expansive rice paddies, intertwining with the magnificent backdrop of the Central Mountain Range to create a grand pastoral landscape. Due to an elevation difference, the water appears to flow upstream at the end of the channel, earning it the nickname 'East Rift Valley's Water Flowing Upstream'.
