Chicaohiao Rest Area

Located on Highway 11 in Changbin Township, Taitung, the "Chicaohiao Rest Area" offers spacious parking and two ocean-view pavilions, making it an ideal place to relax and enjoy the Pacific Ocean scenery during your journey. Sitting in the pavilions, facing the sea breeze and gazing at the endless ocean view, is incredibly refreshing. The Chicaohiao Bridge, next to the rest area, spans the Dade River and was completed in 1996, serving as an important local transportation bridge.
