Taitung Sugar Factory

Taitung Sugar Factory has a history of over a hundred years since its establishment. In 2004, after being registered as a historical building by the Taitung County Government, it was transformed into the Taitung Sugar Factory Cultural and Creative Park. The park retains former railway tracks and train equipment, and its original buildings have been renovated to include a museum, an open-air stage, public art installations, and more. Local artists and food and beverage vendors have also been invited to set up shop, transforming the Taitung Sugar Factory into a multifunctional arts and cultural exhibition space that showcases local culture while preserving traditional crafts.
