Sleeping Beauty Rock

Green Island is an island formed by volcanic activity. Scholars speculate that the eastern coast was home to an ancient explosive crater, leaving behind not only remnants of a volcanic neck but also a series of surrounding geological landscapes shaped by the varying resistance of the crater walls to weathering. From the Little Great Wall overlooking Haishenping, one can spot a geological formation along the coast that strikingly resembles a sleeping woman lying on her side. This formation is known as 'Sleeping Beauty Rock,' and together with the adjacent Haba Dog Rock, they are collectively referred to as 'Sleeping Beauty and the Pug'.
