9420 Coastal Recreation Area

The 9420 Coastal Recreation Area is situated at the southern tip of Taitung, close to the 420-kilometer mark of Provincial Highway 9. The Dawu Township Office specially set up a love-themed photo spot, playing on the homophonic similarity of '9420' to 'I just love you' (就是愛你). Visitors can take memorable photos with their loved ones here, or simply relax on the lawns and in the pavilions within the park, admiring the expansive Pacific Ocean and the towering Central Mountain Range, and embracing the feeling of being surrounded by lush green mountains and the sea. In the evening, a stroll through the park offers a chance to marvel at the brilliant starry sky. Day or night, the 9420 Coastal Recreation Area's beauty is not to be missed.
