Millennium Couple Trees

The Couple Trees are banyan trees, standing on the hillside one in front of the other. The 'Wife Tree' is located lower, with softer branches, plump oval leaves, and bears fruit. The 'Husband Tree' is located higher, with harder branches, thinner and longer leaves, and does not bear fruit. The Wife Tree is approximately 500 years old, while the Husband Tree, according to locals, is about 1500 years old.
