Malan Station

Before the Eastern Line expansion, the early Malan Station featured a wooden station building. However, during the widening of the Eastern Line, it was rebuilt into the brick and concrete station building seen today. Malan Station primarily handled freight, with the nearby CPC Corporation oil depot and the Taitung Sugar Factory being the largest sources. However, with the closure of the sugar factory and CPC's shift to road transportation, Malan Station eventually ceased operations.
