Duoliang Station, located near the Southern Link Highway, was originally the site of the Paiwan tribe's 'Tjalatjalang Community.' During the Japanese colonial period, it was renamed 'Tatara,' and after the construction of the Southern Link Railway, its name was simplified to 'Duoliang.' Although train services ceased in 2006 due to low passenger volume, Duoliang Station is still acclaimed as Taiwan's most beautiful station, owing to its stunning geographical location with mountains behind it and the ocean in front.
