Dongqing Bay

Dongqing Bay is located in eastern Lanyu (Orchid Island) and features the largest bay topography on the entire island. The main bay extends approximately half a kilometer south from in front of Dongqing Village, making it quite long and narrow. However, what is commonly referred to as Dongqing Bay, where many traditional dugout canoes are parked, specifically refers to the natural harbor 'Dongqing Gang'ao' (Dongqing Harbor), which is surrounded by reefs in front of Dongqing Village. This 'Dongqing Gang'ao' is the Dongqing Bay that this text refers to.
