Visitor Essentials

Zhaori Hot Spring is located on the southeastern coast near Fanchuanbi, facing the Pacific Ocean. It was named Zhaori (meaning 'morning sun' or 'sunrise') because it faces the direction of the sunrise. During the Japanese colonial period, it was known as "Asahi Hot Spring." It is one of the world's renowned submarine hot springs. Zhaori Hot Spring has a salty taste from the seawater and is classified as a sulfate chloride spring. It is non-irritating to human skin and leaves no sticky residue after bathing. The hot spring area features three outdoor circular pools, indoor hot spring pools, SPA facilities, an egg-boiling area, and a concession stand. The intertidal zone within the hot spring area is dotted with corals and sea-eroded gullies, offering a unique and enjoyable hot spring experience.
