Dawu Fishing Harbor

Dawu Fishing Harbor boasts unique natural environmental advantages. It is located precisely where cold and warm currents converge, featuring upwelling currents that are rare worldwide. These currents are rich in nutrient salts, making the seawater abundant in nutrients. Consequently, a large number of deep-sea fish migrate and inhabit this area. The water becomes sufficiently deep not far from the harbor entrance, allowing fishermen to catch swordfish without having to travel far. During the hairtail fish season in particular, the harbor is exceptionally busy with boats constantly coming and going.
