Stone Umbrella

Stone Umbrella is located between Baxiandong and Sanxiantai, approximately on Taiwan Provincial Highway 11. This cape, about 1 kilometer long, extends from the coast into the sea and is an uplifted limestone marine erosion landform. Originally, there were several sea-eroded rock pillars on the cape's shore shaped like umbrellas. Currently, only one remains standing independently, looking like an umbrella, which is why it is called Stone Umbrella.
